A happy new year 2008 from Puss in boots.
.
It is already 15 years ago I made my first attempt to create this fairy tale character - making just a teddy cat.Later my Puss in boots was a realistic cat being able to walk on 4 paws as well as upright on two - just like the hero in the fairy tale.
This version also is a realistic cat if he not prefers wearing boots and hat...
To be able to run my Online-Bearmaking School I have reduced my own bearmaking and going to shows.
But since it was released in 2001 I have continued working on my CD-Rom "Teddies, bears and allt that..." and have added new chapters and a lot of pictures. This CD is only available from me.
In 2003 I have founded a bearmaking online school in German language together with an Austrian teddybear forum. We teach classes for beginners as well as high professionell students:
My first teddy bear
First steps in designing teddy bears
Teddy bear beauty farm
Designing and making a classical teddy bear
Designing and making a realistic bear.Although I ran my very first online class for Pam Smalls teddy bear online school "Makke that bear" in English language, our recent classes are all held in German language as the students come from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. I must admit I am quite proud too see some bears designed in my classes could win some prizes such as "Golden George" or "Ted worldwide" and others. So I am sure teaching bearmaking makes sense.
We proudly present all our teddies and bear made in the classes in the presentation board of our online school. At the end of 5 years of experience and many classes told, we dared a very special masterclass:
Designing and making a realistic dog
Our students could decide which dog to make, also the size and if jointed or not - but all dogs of course very poseable.
Of course this was really hard work for everyone of us, but in the end we had a bunch of wonderful dogs:
Samson by Silvia Schulze Ayla by Christina Lischke
Memory by Steffi Busch
All pictures were taken by the makers of the dogs. Clicking the photographs you will find more pictures of the dogs in our presentation board for the dog class. Even if you can't read the german texts - just have a look to see what the results of an online class can be...
Snoopy by Petra Hoffmann
Elmo by Conny Wilde
These are the results of my last class "Designing and making a realistic bear" finished in February 2008.
